Hey everyone! My name is Patty, I'm 25 years old and I gave my life to Christ when I was 9. I was one of the kids who grew up in church. My parents both recieved Christ into their lives right before I was born and instilled the Word of God in us since we were babies. I remember singing all Bible songs when I was a kid, stomping around the living room singing, "I'm in the Lord's Army." I have great memories growing up, despite difficulties that arose, like most familes. I remember being involved in everything that was involevd with the Church. I grew up in a Pentecostal church and so I knew about the movement of the Holy Spirit at a young age. I don't remember the exact day when I gave my heart to Christ, but I know that I was still young when I made the decision.
This isn't the end of my testimony, i'm going to be going into detail of my life testimony in the journal area. If you're interested in reading my whole story from start to where I am now, and if I can encourage anyone please read my journal entries. I went through alot, and i'm willing to be vulnerable and let people see even the things that I may want to hide. Remember your testimony isn't only about the best you can show, tell or give, but it's about being honest of where you were and where God brought you from, only by his grace. Never be ashamed of some scars you may have because through those scars you can bring healing to others. God bless!
Some of my greatest blessings have been the men & women of God who stepped out in faith and followed what God wanted even though it was not what men wanted. I had a pastor growing up who ministered to me by his life, not just what was said behind a pulpit. Some of my favorite verses are:
Psalms 139:14 "I praise you for I am fearfully & wonderfully made, your works are wonderful I know that full well."
This has been my LIFE verse! Another verse I absolutlly love is
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
I've seen miracle after miracle and healing after healing happen in my life alone! that it would take up so much time to share everything with everyone!

My all time favorite book to read is This Present Darkness & Piercing the Darkness by Frank Peretti, if you're a christian and you haven't read his books they should be on the MUST HAVE list. Very good :) I'm pretty mellow when it comes to music, I have my fav's but not a HUGE music fan, I prefer a book.

I was involved in our children's ministry @ my church, I'm taking a break until next year :) But my husband and I are in charge of our website/computer ministry. He's the brains and i'm the comp nerd! lol. Even though I must admit i'm better at making graphics...lol. :)
