Hey guys;
Well I was born and brought up in the typical Christian home where the Bible was the model for our home. My dad and mom took us to church every Sunday which I loved because I loved to be around Pastors because I always had a longing to be one. My heart really got turned on for God in 1992 when a great and Godly Youth Pastor came to our church actually he was already in our church just a hidden secret - Pastor Chuck - He took the time to empty his life into our youth group and he gave us a great name - ambassadors. We went from church to church sharing the gospel and being God's hands and feet in the fallen world. I wanted to be a Pastor so bad that I had an attitude that I could be the best ambassador in the youth group. The only problem with that is that I had no real friends because I was such person that I would short anybody in the bad to be on stage. (Sick I know) My peer thought I was crazy, I would be on the plateform on Sunday night leading the hymn service and just preachin when ever I got a chance or opportunity. I just really never took anytime to be a teen or a kid for that matter. I never took anytime really just spend with the Lord I just was so religious. Pride was my biggest bully in my life and it was a real problem. In 1995 I went to Bible school with my big head and no heart. Oh I had a bible and I could probably out preach anyone but the bible never had me. I had the gull to go to a professor and ask him to send me to a church to preach the first week I was at school. He send me away with these words - Wayne you need to learn to wash feet before you will ever serve in the local church context. He was so right in the next four years I had so many ups and down in the in ministry school liffe. God was truly preparing me for what he was preparing for me. Today I Pastor a great church in Minerva Ohio and I am married and have two little ones. I am right with God and right with others. Pride is dead and Christ in me the hope of Glory lives on. What A Savior; What A King. Philippians 1:6
