thanks for adding me as a friend. I read your testimony and admire your willingness to lead teens on a faithful path. I have 2 teen boys of my own and we realize the importance of having a faithful, devoted leader. May you continue to be blessed in the ministry you do for Him. Have a wonderful weekend.

When i was 13 my friend invited me to a church group. i was excited to just get out of the house so of course i went! It was a 2 night event and boy did it change my life! After they finished the praise and worship i was speachless. I had never heard that kind of music or felt that kind of Peace either! I was wondering why everyone was raising their hands and singing so loud but i didnt say anything. i just stood there watching them thinking about how HAPPY they looked when they did it. When the preacher started preaching on how Jesus wanted to be our best friend i was confused. Why on earth would Jesus want to be MY friend? I was not a bad child but i knew i was not perfect. No one had ever told me that i could not only have Jesus as my friend but as my BEST FRIEND!!!!! The whole service i thouth my heart was going to burst! i could not explain what i was feeling but i knew it was a good thing. At the end of the service the preach asked if anyone wanted to make Jesus their best friend and i shot my hand up.... i was not sure if he even wanted us too but i could not hold it down any longer! I was so hungry and thirsty at the same time but not for food or water....for JESUS! He asked us to come to the front to say a prayer asking Jesus into our heart to become our best friend. I dont remember every word i said but i know i meant them with all my heart. im 23 now and Jesus is still my best friend. i still go to Him for everything and He takes care of me just like He promised. Now i want to be the one God uses to invite every teeneger i meet to also meet my Best friend, Jesus Christ!
