When I was a kid my biological parents abandoned me and I was sent to live with my great aunt. She did what she could but she had four children who were older that treated her like dirt. My adopted brothers and sisters never let me forget that I didn't belong there. They also had pretty bad tempers and I was an easy outlet. I became very angry and got into a lot of trouble because of it. Eventually I started going to church on my own. I started going to a christian camp every summer and winter. I got saved at my second camp that I went to. I became sold out for God. My senior year of high school God put a calling on my heart for youth ministry. I on the other hand had other plans. I joined the army and I fell FAR away. I started partying every weekend. My anger came back full force. This went on for about four years. In that time I got into some trouble, mainly because of my temper. Through the whole time I got many nudges from God. He put people around me that were serving him, but I wasn't ready to change. One day it was like God decided that he was done nudging and decided to use a sledgehammer. I wasn't expecting it but God came in full force and I decided to allow him to use me however he sees fit. I get out of the army in four months and I have an interview at a ministry program in Oregon. This is the same program that I was called to go to before I ran off on my own. I can't wait to see what God does next.
