This is my personal testimony, it started in my early years of middle school, I was the most popular kid who was into sports, and didnt care what I said or did or if it hurt someones feelings or not, it was all about me I thought. Well when I was 13 years old I was at one of my family members house and I got drunk, and took some pills, and the only thing at the time I could think about was not wanting to live life anymore it seemed like I had no purpose for life, thank God though I had a praying mother, about a week later after I thought about killing my self I went to church and set in the back of the seat with a girl I was dating at the time, they had a preacher there preaching about hell, he preached about it so strong it seemed so real to me, but he also said that I could be saved if I accepted Christ Jesus in my heart as my Lord and personal savior, I gripped ahold of my seat tightly didnt want to let go and go pray I was so scared people would think bad of me, finally I couldnt take it anymore and I looked at my mom who prayed for me for years, and asked her if I could go pray she said if you feel like that is what Gods wanting you to do then go for it I took a step out of my seat and my savior was there and met me a second step. For the first time in my life I knew what real love was, I was no more the person that didnt care about anyone after christ saved me I cared about everyone. There was a love in my heart that the alcohol and the pills and the drugs couldnt give me, for the first time in my life I was happy, I found myself going back to school and sharing with all my class mates my testimony, the ones I use to ignore, I now talked to and witnessed to them about the love of Jesus. Ive been saved for about 11 years now, ive went through struggles diagnosed with CHF and cardiomothophy when i was 20 but I thank God, since ive been 16 ive been a minister and Gods helped me use my condition to help other people, just always remember, John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
