I was saved at the age of 10, grew up and raised in church and taught about different religions. I grew up in a poor family with an abusive father and when I was 12 my parents went through a nasty divorce. By the time it was over with my mother ended up with custody of my brother and myself and we were living out of a car.
My father is a very religious person and would always tell me I was going to hell because I didn't believe the way he did. He even went as far as attacking me while we were in church so that I could be embarrassed. I quickly cut ties with him during my senior year in high school so I could have a chance at a normal life.
I was married at the age 18, had my son at 19 and was divorced at 20 when my husband abandoned me and my son for another woman he was having an affair with at work. After the divorce I went through deep depression and began drinking heavily trying to become an alcoholic and though I'm not proud to say committing fornication. I could never get drunk and after awhile I grew tired of the whole thing and came back to Christ.
Shortly after rededicating my life to the Lord I met back up with my high school sweet heart I hadn't seen in 5 years. In that moment I knew I was meant to be with him because it was like we were never apart,four months later we were married.
At the age of 22 the Lord revealed to me my calling during a Bible study and from then on I've been trying to live my life according to God's word and striving everyday to win souls for the kingdom.
The Lord has worked many miracles in my life, one to many to type so if you would like to fellowship with me I'll be glad to tell you about them and hear your testimony as well. I would like to also report that I through Christ have learned the meaning of forgiveness and have a wonderful relationship with all of my family!

I enjoy different types of music.
My favorite books are: Bible, The Love Dare, The Shack, Chicken soup for the soul books, The Lucifer Effect, When worldviews collide, America in Prophecy, When faith and Decisions collide, How to win friends and influence people
I also enjoy following the ministry of Joyce Myers. I like the way she breaks everything down in layman terms and is up front with everything.
