Hi Mahkayla ! I'm blessed to know such a young person on fire for our Lord, and thanks for your TYT friendship. In reading your testimony, I'm reminded and encouraged of all the different ways God gets our attention... thank God you listened to Him ! I see you're called/led by the Lord's Love to minister/witness to people involved in same sex relations. I pray the Lord uses you mightily to change the hearts/spirits of those individuals, In Jesus Name, Amen. J.o.y, David

In middle school i had always felt left out. I hung around with the wrong crowd that gave me a bad reputation. I was living life with the world and not with God. I became deeply depressed in my own sorrow and guilt. I felt hopeless and out of touch with the world. I had no reason for my depression though. I was pretty; skinny; and the former star softball player. But the devil got his clutch on me. I had been raised in church all my life and i could easily talk the talk but couldn't walk the walk. I cut my wrists everytime anger engulfed me. I still have scars =( Then while in seventh grade my family doctor found a lump in my neck. He thought it was leukemia. I had blood drawn and it came back with normal results but the lump wouldn't go away. He sent to get an xray & ultrasound on my neck; turns out it was a sist. And i still have it to this day. But this was like a major wakeup call for me. So I started to put my trust in God more; not completely but more. Then when i was 8th grade i started to make new friends who weren't such a bad influence on me. I was still a cutter though. I slowly came out of my depression and was feeling a tad bit better about myself. But God eventually got a hold on me and i've never been more on fire for God then now. I'm no longer a cutter; no longer depressed; no longer following the path of the world- but i'm a diehard christian and couldn't be more happier. I read my bible everyday; pray everyday; and witness to someone about Gods love to someone every time the chance arises.

INFLUENCES: Mainly my friend Taylor. She was so on fire for God when I was going through all this. She had been on a mission trip to another country and came back so full of life and love for God and that's exactly what I wanted. Today though; two years later me & her can stay on the phone for hours at a time just talking about Gods love for us and others. THANK YOU TAYYBAYY!
