All my life I have wondered what I will do with my life. What kind of job I will have and where I will go after college. When I was about 7or 8 years old, I was listening to some tapes of preaching at Cropwell Baptist Church of Bro. Kenneth Bullard. At the end of the tape, it gave an invitation, so I followed what it said to do. This is the time that I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Then I did almost that Christians would do I went to church and VBS. Then one year my uncle invited me to a Christian camp in Mobile. So I went there and I was about ten and eleven. It was a warm night in July. I was sitting on the first row of this outside church, the only thing it had was a roof and no walls. My uncle preached and when he gave the invitation and the song Sanctuary was played. And I was called to rededicate my life to the Lord. Then about a year later at Cropwell I decided to follow Christ in Baptism. And I was baptized by Bro Greg Corbin. From Then on I knew that God had a huge plan for me, but I never would have imaged that it would be this. I have always wanted to be a cook, ever since I was little. I even had a little kitchen. Then I got older, I wanting to open my own restaurant. When I was twelve or thirteen I started to take voice lesions. Mrs. Alyson Griffith. I was not really good at singing but she taught me a lot more. Such as you should let your voice be heard. When I was fourteen and fifteen I got far, far away from God I started thinking the wrong things and doing the wrong things> and I was not reading my Bible enough. So when a friend invited me to a revival at Bethel Baptist Church. There at that church they were worshiping God with all their soul I could really tell that they loved God. Then again I rededicated my life to the Lord again. During that time I decided that God was calling me to foreign missions. But I also decided that I need to do some witnessing here in Ashville. Ashville High before I go out into the world. I think that this decision had to do with this mission’s class that I am taking. This is added as of June 6, 2008. I have learned a great lesson in life within a couple of days. I have heard this over and over in church. That is do not lean on your on understanding and no one else’s. This I learned the hard way by one of my friends that I went to for advise started doing things that are unchristian like and my friend lied about it. Also I thought that I was getting closer to God but in fact I was getting farther away.What I was doing was that I was going to friends instead of Jesus and the Bible. Then here recently God has told me so many things. He told me some things that i really dont want to know yet but there is a reason for every thing. Then He put a burden on my heart to pray and be an example to my peers here in High school. Although i only have 2 years left i THink that i can can do it only with GOD and lots and lots of prayer. My life verse is Proverbs 13:20 “He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the friend of a fool will suffer much harm “. I was given this verse by some missionaries to Haiti. They served here for a long time and now there house has things that they brought back.
