I was raised in a very loving "church going" household, but I never knew that you could have a personal relationship with Jesus. I attended College and had the initial seeds of Christianity planted in my life through a friend and Campus Crusades. I then went off to serve in the military and found myself attending an Assembly of God church in San Antonio Texas. This is where I observed the living testimony of a man named Fred; he had an internal peace and happiness about him that drew me to ask questions. He shared with me that it was Jesus and his personal relationship with him that filled him with this happiness and content. It was then, on April 14 th 1991, that I stepped forward to the alter and accepted Jesus as my personal Savior. I have grown in Christ since that day and quickly realized that my relationship with Jesus didn't eliminate my trials, only ensured me that I now had someone to lean on when they came. I am very blessed to have a beautiful wife, Marlo, who loves Jesus, and two healthy children Asher and Ella that are growing up in a Christian household.
It was in 2007 that I discovered the blessings of the Holly Spirit. After reading scripture and seeing the example from Marlo, on October 20 th 2007, I was baptized in the Holly spirit by a mentor of mine, Terry Felder. I know that I have been blessed with the favor of God in my life and my heart has been filled with the gift of faith and service. I have continued to develop my prayer language and look forward to what the Lord has prepared ahead for me and my family.
