I grew up with teen parents in a not so great neighborhood, barely making it financially. No one in my family was super religious, but everyone was brought up in church. My grandma became my mentor through christ and taught me sooo much about how to better my walk through Him. I was saved at 5 years old, baptised at 8 years old and recieved my spiritual language at 11 years old. As I got older and entered high school, I began to drift. I got into an emotionally abusive relationship which lasted all four years of high school. I began to party a lot with people who I thought were my "friends". While at the same time I was going to church and trying to make myself do good through Christ. I knew the entire time that what I was doing was terrible and so unfaithful to God. But for whatever reason, Satan had such a strong hold on me. Finally, I broke away from that. I broke up with my boyfriend, started college, and got a great job that I love. I was very involved at church functions, began tithing, was in two weekly bible studies, and I lead our college worship team. My relationship with God was absolutely amazing. Then, I'm not sure what has happened recently, but I have started to turn away. I am catching it before I get to far. I am in need of a lot of prayer right now.
