My name is Robert L. Gunn IV and I’m a member of Solid Rock Outreach Ministries church. In an effort to help our fellow Americans who have been laid off from their jobs, I plan to conduct a Hope, Faith, Determination Walk from Miami, Florida to Jacksonville, Florida to raise funds for some necessities that they may need. This walk will be approximately twenty-eight days starting August 1- August 28, 2009 and averaging thirty to fifty-two miles per day; excluding Sundays. I am asking businesses based locally and in our neighboring cities to assist me in this effort with lodging, gas, transportation and food costs, sponsoring me a dollar per mile or whatever their budget may permit. I will be walking on our streets so any members of law enforcement are welcome to volunteer. Every donation will be tax-deductible. My fellow Americans, it is my vision that this will become a joint effort. We will all suffer at some capacity, but if we have faith and stand together on God’s Word anything is possible.
