I've became a practising Eastern (Russian) Orthodox Christian when I was 19 and a half. God saved me from spiritual death in my sin's,by giving me His Love and Forgivness - two thing's I wanted so badly to be in my life. As a former lesbian I certanly was in chains of all kind's of sexual sin... but God through His sacraments: Eucharist and Confession gave me strength to stand strong despite the atac's of evel. I was witnessed by a group of missionary monks in the city I was living in for that moment (it was Kiev, Ukraine). Some of their word's influebced me deeply and I waned to start a Change in my life. One of the monk's then became my father confessor, and the church where he served became, in time, my second home. I still sing in that Church choir, and when I do so, I know that my prayes are just a little part of giving back to God, for all the miracles He made in my life!
