| Ramona's Testimony |

My name is Mona. I am a 36 yr. old mother of five. I am engaged to be married on Feb. 14, 2009. I excepted Jesus into my life on March 10, 2006.
My husband of 15yrs. walked out on me in Feb. 2006 for another woman. I was so depressed and so scared about raising five kids on my own. I had no job. He had left me with only $100 to my name. What was I going to do? He had gotten his own place and had taken the kids for the weekend on March 10th. I couldn't take it anymore. My best friend, Dee, invited me over to her house to play cards with her husband and her sister-in-law. I went. But on my way over there I was coming up with a plan to kill myself. I thought about parking my car on the railroad tracks by Dee's house. But I knew I couldn't handle the pain. Then I remembered that I had a presciption for Trazadon and Prozac by my bed. I figured I would go play cards with my friends then go home and down both bottles of pills.
I went over to Dee's house and cried on her shoulders but never said anything about my plan. Later that night Dee's nephew, Ron, came home from a church service. He started telling me about it. I went outside to smoke a cig. and he followed me. As we were out there he said to me, "Mona, don't you relize how much God loves you. Parking your car on the railroad tracks or downing pills is not the answer. God is." I stood there in shock. How did he know? I didn't tell anyone. After thinking about what he said for awhile, I told my friends what I had planned when I went home. Then I asked Ron how he knew. He said "God."
That night Ron and I prayed and I accepted God into to my life.
God made it for me to be there that night. He knew what I had planned and he sent Ron with a message to me.
I have followed God since then. I have been through alot of trails and tribulations, but through it all God has been there. I know that if I hadn't had God in my life, I would not have made it this far.
He has provided jobs, a home, he sent me my fiance, Aaron. Money when I needed it most. I praise him for everything.
