Hi my name is Bria and i'm 12 years old. When I was 4, the day before my 5th b-day,(jan.30 2000) I was in the car with my cousin Diahna who was 12 at the time. I remember our conversation clearly. She asked me if I had given my life to Jesus Christ. I said no. then she asked me if I wanted to. I said yes. She prayed the prayer with me. and I was very excited to be a christian. I mean that was the best b-day present ever!!! In 5th grade I was called the "goody two shoes" or people would tell me that i'm a pushover or that I let everyone take advantage of me. their comments didn't bother me. I took it as a compliment that they noticed that i had a nice attitude and tried to be friendly to everyone. I liked helping to solve problems with people. I enjoyed the fact that people could comfide in me and trust me. At this time I was going to church and reading my bible but I never really relized that i did these things because it was all God's plan for my life and that I should live for christ. But it wasn't until 6th grade when I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and decide that whatever I do I want it to be glorifying to God. When I made my decision known, nobody ever let me forget it and I didn't want to. But I had to live up to my commitment. Every since then I have been living my life for Christ and no one else. 1 John 2:6 Whoever claims to be in christ must walk as Jesus did.
