I was abused at the age of 6 years old, by an 18 yeared old guy... At the time, he threatened me with doing worse things to me if i told someone what had happened, so i decided to keep it as a secret... i didn't understand how bad the thing had been, until i was 12 and received "sexual education" at school... I felt empty and dirty... I was raised in a "catholic" home, where thanks to my mother I knew God (my father didn't belive at all), i tried to find help in the Church, wanted to know more and more about God, but there was always something that was keeping me away from reaching Him... I had a vice for men, like I was going to erase the abuse i suffered, by choosing men to have sex with (I still held the secret)... Later, as my parents got divorced, my aunt and uncle introduced me to the Christian Community... one night, as they where having a simple conversation about a girl that had been also abused as a child, I listened to all the terrible things she was going through as an adult, and i couldn't stop feeling identified with that girl... The father of that girl, was the man i had chosen as my Spiritual Father just 2 days before... So, the next day, I went to the Community and gave my life to God!!! I cried my life out, but after that, i felt reborned... Now, I'm about to marry an amazing Christian man who has chosen me despite of all my history... We will not have each other until our wedding day... It's a promise I'll keep for love to God...
