Thanx 4 the add Scott, really nice to chat to other Christians again, am really happy I found this website, I am an African young woamsn studying in China, I just got here 2 months ago and I couldnt find any christians or fellowship groups, I feel soo alone bcoz I have a very close relationship with Jesus and as much as I dont wanna isolate myself, I just cant fit in, so this is really good 4 me.

Scott's Testimony
I was raised in a Southern Baptist church. We went to church every Sunday morning and sometimes evening. My grandfather who was my true father figure was a deacon in a small church in Meadville, Mississippi for as long as I can remember. When I stayed with my grandparents we went Sunday morning, evening and to prayer meeting on Wednesday nights. I have fond memories of my childhood and going to church.
I remember tell my mother that I wanted to accept Jesus into my heart when I was around 7 years old so I was baptized soon after along with my older brother.
Throughout my life I have been heavily involved with sports and have always ended up being a team leader for whatever team I was on whether it was wrestling, cycling, tack, or judo. Through judo I have been able to travel the world and meet people from all walks of life. I have never been ashamed to tell people that I am a Christian. That is something I have always been proud of.
Again, I have always thought of myself as a Christian but like anyone else I have made mistakes and I am a sinner and sometimes get out of the habit or praying and going to church.
I started my own business in 2005 and became a part of an incredible business development group that advocates things I feel are important like integrity, honest, and many others and this organization is founded on a love of God and is open about that. You are not required to be a Christian to be a part of our organization but before major functions we say the Pledge of Allegiance, and pray to God. I am so proud to be a part of the World Wide Group for these and other reasons and it was at a major function in 2007 when Dr. John Maxwell was leading the worship service that I was called to rededicate my life to Christ during the invitation. I remember thinking that I am a Christian but with tears in my eyes I went to the front of the huge arena and prayed with a large group that Jesus Christ would again help me to be a better man and live my life in the way God would want.
I feel it was God that lead me to be approached to build this website and I am so proud to be a part of this hopefully soon to be world wide ministry!
