I was the person that didn't much care for Christian. I thought that they were hateful people; closed minded and didn't accept people that were different. Then I met a friend, his name was Dustin. He was open passionate Christian. He seemed different. And we had many conversations.
The in January of 2005, I had just gotten dumped by an ex-girlfriend and lost my job in one weekend. I found a job as a vacuum salesman. I thought that if I was going to do that, I would have to get my confidence back quick.
So, I decided that I was going to go look for a motivational book. I went to Wal-Mart in the middle of the night looking for one. I came across a book that was written by a guy named Joel Osteen. I looked at it for a second, and realized that he was a minister. My first reaction was NO!!!!
I went looking through out the store. And came across the same book. I said NO to myself again. Then after a half hour of searching throughout the store. I came across the book a third time. So I decide to buy it.
I read that book all night long. And when I was finished. I was a reborn Christian. And my life has never been the same.
