Hi there Janice.I'm a little lost in the snow here in WV. Wishing to be somewhere warmer.haha I was truly blessed by you and encouraged. I love being connected to sisters in Christ who want to do so much for Jesus. I am jumping in w/both feet into missions very soon and am excited about it. Thank you for the add. God is so awesome in our lives.
If we can ever find a good driver to put in my truck, I will be a retired trucker myself. Then I will be in full time ministry of writing for Him. Yeah - looking forward to that day.

Wow Janice, God IS awesome isn't He? I just know your wonderful testimony and strong faith in God (Like Abraham's), will keep you in God's Blessings and will continue to grow and touch other's lives in a powerful and mighty way! Though troubles may come, and they will, your faith and trust in God will get you through and prove to others EVEN more what a mighty God we serve. :)

I know the feeling. I had so many demons in me the nignt I got saved, it took all of half an hour to volmit them all out. They came to me when I was in Japan in the air force. I went to a budist temple just to look around. Bad move! They seem to lay dorment in ones body till the Lord comes to rescue us. then they come to life and let us know they are in control. But, Jesus is more powwerful and The Rightous one. He will always see us through. Fred

I heard a song in a Christmas play at school when I was a small child (they allowed that then) and I felt something touch my spirit that I had never felt before. I never forgot that experience. Many years later I was at a church service (my first time). When the choir began singing, my spirit was overwhelmed. I started shaking and tears began to fall. I didn't know what was happening and was very embarassed, but I couldn't stop. The pastor gave a sermon, but I couldn't hear a word due to a loud roaring in my ears (I was still shaking) I went home with my family, who stared strangely at me, as I was still exhibiting strange symptoms. I had trouble breathing & there was a heavy weight on my chest - so much so that I could hardly sleep that night. I had several other strange sensations over the next couple days. I was alone in my office at work a couple days later, thinking about everything that was happening to me since I went to church. I made up my mind: "I'm going back and giving myself up to whatever is pulling at me." I then heard a voice tell me that if I did that, everything bad that had happened in my life (and a LOT of bad had happened) was nothing compared to what would come against me if I pursued this. I angrily answered back that my mind was made up! Immediately, I was blinded (sort of like the bright lights of a movie camera being shined in the eyes), my ears were roaring, I felt violently ill, the most horrid taste of bile was in my mouth, my teeth felt like they were going to fall out - when suddenly I felt something cold leave my body through my upper left leg. Slowly, my senses returned to me and I felt totally drained. Since that time so many years ago, I have had to endure many bad times, heartache, illness, surgeries, death of loved ones, and much more than I can tell here. But the Lord has also blessed me more than I deserve. There have been miraculous healings and blessings. He has picked me up when I've been down, and has brought me to a place of deep fulfillment in Him. I am in a church where I can give and receive unconditional love to others in the faith and where I can be of use with the little I have to offer. I have so many testimonies from experiences over the years, but this was my first and happened at the time of conversion.
(I believe the sensation of something cold leaving my body was something evil (be it demonic spirit or whatever) - later I concluded that when the Holy Spirit enters, whatever is evil in the body must flee. At least, that it what happened to me.)
