I was raised in a small town with two brothers . My family came to God together when I was about 5. I was baptized at 8 . I accepted Jesus back then , but at age 14 , I ran away from God . A preacher in our church called me up for prayer and as he finished praying , he shoved my fore head very hard . I was upset , cause I was expecting God to do it . I left the church and behaved myself until I was a junior in highschool . I began experimenting with drugs because I was tired of getting left out . All my friends were in the PARTY CROWD , and when I couldn't beat them , I joined them . When I graduated , I went to the USMC . I lasted a year before being expelled as a drug addict . I came home and went nuts trying to find someone to settle down with and start a family . Hey , It worked for my old man , maybe it would work for me . Well , 2 years later I found her in the beer joint and we married . The Dr.s in the service told me I'd never have kids . I now have 4 sons . They began to pick up my bad habits and I knew if not for my own sake , then for theirs , I needed to get back to church . I had been reading my bible , a little here and there since Y2K , and 2 months after we went to church in 2007 , Jesus opened my eyes in a service . Since then , I attended a Walk to Emmaus program that focused my attention on My Fathers Will being first in my life . I'm a hardcharger for Jesus now , and I love him . He's my best friend , and he never leaves me alone .
