Denita Lynette's Testimony

I was saved in my early twenties at a church that I visited with my sister. I knew who God was and knew what it meant to be saved. But that was the first time that I made the conscious decision to do so. There were many times I have heard invitations to accept the Lord and my heart was crying out to accept. I was just being help back for a reason unknown. Now I know it was the devil himself holding me back from the Kingdom of God. God's goodness and grace. I thought it was fear. I guess it was a little of that too. Although there was nothing to fear about accepting HIM and offering HIM my heart. The first time I remember being witnessed to was by a woman who I used to work with years before who was very religious and had a strong relationship with the Lord. Through her is when I heard all the good and amazing things that God can do. My greatest blessings are just waking up everyday and accepting the gift of each day the Lord gives me. I am blessed to have my health, family and friends. I am truely blessed to have the gift of forgiveness, mercy, grace, and everlasting love from the Lord and the blood Jesus Christ who lives in me. One of my favorite scriptures is from Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." I have miracles everyday. How God sees me through the tough times, doubts and fears that I may encounter. I love my Lord!
