All my life I have either been a Youth Pastors kid or a Pastors kid. And my story is a bit different than most. I was adopted right when I was born so I didn't really have any experiance in foster homes. A few summers ago I went to visit my birthmother and in the past she would always involve me and try to get to know me but this time was different. She acted like she didn't want me there and it was really rough. I had never felt that type of rejection before and it hurt deeper than I could imagine. I turned to God through this time with everything I had. He gave me the peace I needed and gave me the reassurance of acceptance and the love I needed to feel again. He has always been there for me and I know in my heart that He will never leave me. And as He gave me the peace and love and acceptance that I needed, He will be there for you to. Through anything that your going through.

Switchfoot is one of my all time favorite bands. If you haven't read The Shack I strongly recommend it. Also Velvet Elvis.
